Hello there PC Specialist Community,

Custom specifications:

CORSAIR 5000D AIRFLOW TEMPERED GLASS GAMING CASE

Intel® Core™ i7-14700K

GIGABYTE Z790 UD

32GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE 5200MHZ

16GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 4070 Ti SUPER

[X2] 1TB SOLIDIGM P44 PRO GEN 4 M.2

24X DUAL LAYER DVD WRITER

CORSAIR 850W RMX SERIES™

DEEPCOOL AK620 ZERO DARK HIGH-PERFORMANCE DUAL TOWER CPU COOLER

ARCTIC MX-4 THERMAL PASTE

2.5G ETHERNET CARD*

I would be grateful to receive advice on the following questions regarding these specifications:

  • Regarding the case, is this sufficient for cooling without additional fans?
  • Regarding the motherboard, it notes that it comes with a ‘Realtek® 2.5GbE LAN chip’. Does this mean that Ethernet connectivity is built into the motherboard, or, do I also need to add a ‘2.5G ETHERNET CARD’?
  • Regarding the power supply unit, is this sufficient (taking into consideration power spikes)?
  • Regarding the cpu cooler, is this sufficient?

Thank you kindly for any assistance with these questions.

I would also welcome any other observations/concerns regarding these specifications.

Best wishes,

Tortoise.
