Could this build handle these games in high graphics?

League of Legends
GTA 5
Borderlands 1&2
DOOM
Dark Souls 3
Trove
CounterStrike Global Offensive
DayZ

Also if you think I could switch some parts for better ones, feel free to let me know (my budget is only £750!!)

Yes, is the short answer. It should apparently even run DOOM on ultra @ 1080p, which surprised me, but here's a bench:
http://www.techspot.com/review/1173-doom-benchmarks/page2.html

16gb RAM is somewhat excessive for a gaming pc at that level.
You might consider 8gb RAM and using the spare on a cheap CPU cooler that would keep things cooler and quieter than the intel stock one and/or a 550W PSU for future upgrades.
Also what case are you getting? It's tempting to get the cheapest one, but ideally you'd want one with at least 2 fans fitted to improve airflow.

Note that new GPUs are being released in the coming weeks. This may mean that a better GPU from the current generation's offerings would be available for a little less before too long. Up to you if you want to hold out for that.

I was going for the cheapest case that's true. But I'll have to look for one with two fans fitted. Are you really sure 8 gb would be okay? I read that more gb means better performance. Is there a source about these new GPU's? I'd like to take a look at them. But I'm glad that build is enough, I only have a small pool of games that I like to play.

Short answer is no. :) Not for gaming anyway, video editing then probably. But you didn't say you were doing video editing.

The only circumstances I use more than 8gb RAM are when I have games open in windowed mode, plus some other programs, plus a few dozen browser tabs. If I'm just running a game without loads of stuff open in the background it's nowhere near 8gb. But even if you are in a situation where your PC wants to use more than 8gb, it doesn't really affect your FPS:
http://www.techspot.com/article/1043-8gb-vs-16gb-ram/page3.html
This article shows that even when the PC is using more than 8gb memory, it's not really causing a problem. 16gb RAM is fine in more expensive builds, but at your budget level I'd invest the savings from going to 8gb in other areas :)

As for the new GPUs, the GTX 1080 is being released from 27th May, with the GTX 1070 from 10th June. These cards are likely well above your current budget, but they may squish down prices of older cards like the 970 (which is much more powerful, and much more expensive) than the 960, perhaps bringing it within reach or stretching distance of your budget. As for a source, this stuff has been all over the PC enthusiast geek arena of the internet for the last couple of weeks but for some general info:
http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/new-prod...release-date-price-specs-new-confirm-3639751/
The 1070 is supposed to be cheaper than a GTX 980 while being perhaps as powerful as a GTX 980ti (currently~£500-550). Therefore it's hard to conceive of 970s not experiencing a price drop.

re: cases, the PCS DOMINATOR 6806B BLACK CASE @ £35 is one of the cheapest ones with 2 fans fitted afaik, and it also has front facing USB 3. If you wanted a slightly better build quality and 3 fans, the InWIN 503 MID TOWER GAMING CASE @£49 seems to be a popular recommendation.

Ah. When I'm playing games I usually only have 1 tab open for my music and that's it. So I suppose 8gb will be more appropriate, as for videos, I've only ever recorded with fraps, no editing at all so I suppose it will suffice. I've done some research on the GTX 970 aswell and I really wanted it. I can wait a few weeks to see how it goes :) thanks for your quick replies and your links I'll be sure to hit you up if I have any more questions :D
