Decent backlit keyboards?

So, to cut a long story short, I'm looking to buy a nice backlit keyboard. It's always been a dream of mine to have one (let's face it, what self-respecting girl doesn't pine for a backlit keyboard), but I also want something that'll make a darn sight less noise than this clattery old thing (I'm currently working with a Logitech Y-ST39, it's about 10 years old).

Anyone got any suggestions? Price isn't really a problem, but I wouldn't want to go over £100.

I recommend the Logitech G110 for its simple design and size (aside from the 12 useless G keys :|). It has everything you need in a gaming keyboard. Keys... anti ghosting... including a built in sound card for some reason which I have never used and never will.

The image below is the best I could find to demonstrate the quality of the backlighting. The quality is equal to that of the English QWERTY release ><

Retail price is approximately £50.00.

I agree with dangro, I have that keyboard and its pretty good, cant complain at all. The back lighting is pretty good, the blue looks sleek but i use red as its bit more prominent

Decent keyboard (I own two), however please be aware that it does require two USB connections.

I used to use this before the G110. Essentially it is the same keyboard with a lot of useless tat attached that you will never use (such as the flip up screen). Afaik this became End Of Line in 2010.

Revised version of the G15 v2. A G110 with even more useless sh*t.

Razer is good too but the backlighting is not customizable and I like to change the color to suit my PC LEDs or just my mood :p

Overpriced in my opinion; I like their mice but I have stayed away from their keyboards.

I purchased a Black Widow Ultimate for £120, opened it, packed it up within 2 mins and shipped it back.

Lol cool that'll help me choose which keyboard I want too. I actually like the flip-screen and the
useless sh*t
cuz I'm a fan of futuristic looking gadgets and stuff so depends on taste ;)

Yeh from what iv seen it looks very good, looks pretty standard (dont want an overly flashy one) but has everything i want!
May have to take the jump and go for it!

Even though youve only had it for 3 months are there any signs of keys fading on your keyboard?

True - that's a debate between mechanical vs non-mechanical keyboards. Some gamers prefer mechanical keyboards because of their faster response times and more comfortable/tactile keys.

Mechanical keyboards are much more expensive though, for some it's worth it, others not.

Personally, I use a TT esports g1 mechanical keyboard because backlighting isn't important to me but quiet cherry mechanical keys and usb connectors are.
