Laptop does not boot - no bios?

Hi all, so I have this barely 1 month old laptop.

Basically, I would like to open the BIOS to solve this issue, but I cannot.

When I boot the laptop all I see is:


I cannot press any key beforehand to get into the BIOS. What am I supposed to do ?

what do you mean you cannot enter the bios?
also, that message means your drive/s dont have a proper boot OS, you will probably have to reinstall, unless the HDD is dead, which lets hope it's not because then it becomes messy

Have you got a usb device plugged in?

I think you have the two best answers already, make certain nothing is plugged in to any port and there is no disk in the DVD drive. What happened to cause it to behave like this? Have you made any BIOS changes? Any hardware changes? Any other changes?

If this is a PCS laptop I would give them a call as soon as you can.
