Hi,

Am finally ready to buy a new PC and was hoping for some advice on a good build for £1500 inc VAT

I have a monitor ACER 27" Predator /keyboard/mouse/speakers etc so just want teh desktop itself

I would like decent graphics and include a 500GB SSD drive etc so could anyone suggest a starting spec?

Much appreciated

If that's the Full HD one a GTX 1070 / 1070 ti / 1080 will be way more than enough.

Hi

Many thanks for that and the quick response

Yes the full HD Predator

Any other tweaks worth considering if I find a little more budget?

Many thanks

You could consider the i7 8700. It will have little impact on gaming performance today, but could possibly be more futureproof. Or if you also stream your gameplay or edit videos.

The Asus TUF motherboard has a few more features like USB 3.1 Gen 1, USB Type C, more sata ports.

Hi Again,

Thats great thanks I just wanted to be sure it was a little future proof also so things like the memory etc and Motherboard are OK

Looks like a good spec so unless you see anything else I am off to order!

Many thanks

The £5 warranty upgrade is popular and I'd probably get it.

If you're happy with the Fractal Focus G case, it's a fine case. If you want a different aesthetic, there are plenty of other good options too :)

Hi Again,

Yes actually the case is a bit average, do you have any other recommendations?

Many thanks for all your help!

NZXT S340, Fractal Define S, CORSAIR CRYSTAL SERIES 460X, depending how much you want to pay. All are decent.

The Game Max Falcon is a few quid cheaper than the Focus G and is also a nice budget range case, with RGB LED fans.
