Recoil AMD - Thunderbolt?

Just a question when trying to differentiate between the Intel or the AMD Recoil.

Does the AMD Recoil support Thunderbolt? The Intel version explicitly states that it supports Thunderbolt 4 but that line is not present on the AMD model description. I can see the "USB-C" ports on the images for both chassis but just can't tell if they are Thunderbolt or just ordinary USB ports.

Hey, so, quick answer, Thunderbolt is only available on Intel as this technology belong to them (or something like that ^^)

The key difference is that Intel is still struggling with silicon degradation issues (albeit less so on the 15th generation/Core Ultra due to the hyperthread removal and lower frequencies), whereas AMD is more efficient, cheaper, and consumes less power (which means less heat).

As @Tron1982 said, Thunderbolt is a technology developed by Intel in partnership with Apple, hence it's mainly available on INTEL/MAC platforms/devices. The new USB4 standard is closer to the Thunderbolt 4, yet the latest AMD chassis still have USB3.2/USB-C.
USB4 is commonly found on latest desktop AMD motherboards.

Thank you all for clarifying why the Recoil Intel Laptop has Thunderbolt 4 and the AMD hasn't.

The AMD version SHOULD have USB4 but unfortunately does not. It's a real missed opportunity by the manufacturer.
