Doqaus Bluetooth cutting out on new PC

Hi,

I am setting up a new Windows 11 system I just bought from you and the bluetooth audio is cutting in and out.

The headphones are DOQAUS CARE 1 and they are working fine, as I used them on a different PC and also my phone to test.

I could not find a solution thread but I found one that had some discussion where you asked to see the audio input/output, so mine is attached. Something with "Bluetooth Internet Radio" is showing an error but I do not have any devices using bluetooth radio so not sure what this is.

Any help you can provide is appreciated.

What Bluetooth adapter are you using? There is no WiFi/Bluetooth adapter listed in that spec. In addition, the code 31 error in that screenshot clearly shows that you don't have the correct drivers installed. You need to visit the support website of whatever WiFi/Bluetooth adapter you purchased and download and install the drivers for it.

Hi

Thanks for your reply.

Is this the right place for direct customer support from PCSpecialiast for purchases?

I literally just bought this PC and it was delivered yesterday, everything is pre-installed. I didn't purchase any wifi or bluetooth adapter.

It's this system: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers-for-next-day-delivery/1626/

which has this motherboard: https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-z790-e-gaming-wifi-ii/spec/

which lists Bluetooth® v5.4.1

That code 31 refers to "Generic Bluetooth Radio" but the actual device with the issue says it is fine and is using the best available drivers: https://share.zight.com/nOu7wlej

Martin

PCS don't normally monitor the forums so if you want direct support from them it would be here (via phone better).

Some troubleshooting you could do yourself can be found here in case it helps.

Ah, indeed. My mistake. However, the drivers for that device are clearly not properly installed.

I reinstalled the drivers and it seems.....better. It crackles and drops out sometimes, and using a new relatively expensive headset today, just to rule out hardware. Yesterday every few seconds it went silent for like .5 - 1 second.

Are you testing with the headphones close to the PC/antenna? For testing you pretty much want the headphones to be right next to the PC/antenna.
