Emulators are now allowed on the App Store so long as they state the age limit to be that of the most adult content available on the emulator.
Also that official used parts can be used in place of others where previously a lot of parts were serial “paired” with that particular device.
This is all down to what pressure from the US and EU, well done to them.
Now with the emulator thing, they definitely bowed to governance, no doubt, but I do wonder if this will be a part of apples push into the gaming market. I think they would have fought far longer against it if it hadn’t been Tim Cooke at the helm. I do think Tim is trying to steer Apple to be more gaming focussed.
