Alright. So the consensus appears to be that building a new PC is a bit of a stretch for a 4 year old computer. Equally, I don't want to spend a lot of money on something that would probably be obsolete in a few years time.
Is it possible to semi-build a new PC? So the new parts I purchase now...
OK. I think I've just realised what's happened. I bought this PC back in early 2021 and somehow, I've only just realised that 4 years is quite a long time, so I'm probably due an overhaul. It only felt like yesterday I bought my 3070 during COVID. For some reason, I thought it would last...
Ouch. I don’t necessarily have a budget, I could spend £1k+ on it, however it’s just not a priority for me at the moment. Rather spend it on other stuff.
I’d be happy to spend £400. However, to “future proof” for the next 5 years, I could spend more (£600+)
I only play Football Manager...
Sorry, making dinner so rushing my responses!

In terms of budget, I’d say up to £300, but can go higher if necessary.
I edited my post - I do not require top of the range with a premium price, I'm happy with mid-range and good value for money.
With that in mind, what processor would you suggest?
Are there particular brands of RAM I should consider? Also, can I buy anything, no capability issues?
TIA.
Hi All,
Would you be able to suggest some possible upgrades to my current PC please. I mainly use it for gaming.
I suspect RAM and Processor might be likely candidates? Although admitedly, I don't know a huge about components. However, I do not require top of the range with a premium price...
Hi,
My AX200 is working perfectly, internet wise, but for some reason, I didn't connect the bluetooth ire while installing the card (potentially lost cable as I couldn't find it anywhere). I bought a new cable (link) and I'm unsure whether where it needs connecting to on the motherboard. I...
I have.
However, I've looked at them again, and one of the antennas, at the bottom, can easily disconnect from its casing (not fully) and is quite loose. Could that be the culprit?

Sorry
I didn't even know the optional updates page existed. I should download and install... right?
I will connect to the router this evening/over the weekend. Currently at work.
Thanks again.
On both speedtest and WiFi it appears as Mbps.
I should add, when using speedtest on my PC, the download latency is around 350, whereas on my laptop it's 28.
I got the drivers from here: https://www.intel.co.uk/content/www/uk/en/products/sku/189347/intel-wifi-6-ax200-gig/downloads.html
Thanks.
Morning,
I've had issues with the internet on my PC intermitently over the last couple of years. Originally I had a Realtek RTL8192EE network card, but updated to the AX200 on the Forum's advice, which did improve things. However, there are often times when the internet takes a good 5 minutes...
Hi
Bought a PCS PC over Christmas 2020, but crucially didn't seek anyone's advice beforehand. I've subsequently upgraded a couple of components since - PSU and Wireless Network Card due to issues.
With Black Friday and other sales likely over the next few weeks, I wonder if there's anything...
Thanks for the reply. The PC has been fine for nearly 2 years though - why would it not be strong enough now?!
If the PSU does need replacing, are there any recommendations? Thanks.
Hi,
Not entirely sure of the correct lingo to use, but here goes:
I was using my PC earlier today and 30 minutes in, it turned off and caused a short in the circuit and the fuse board needed flicking back. By process of elimination, I unplugged everything, and one by one, plugged each...
Hi,
I'm not well versed in building computers or understanding what's compatible with what, so I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction! I purchased the below PC from PCS 18 months ago and have always had issues with the internet, predominantly when playing games online. I...
