You should update the 3DMark software to the latest. I think you're around 1000 points down but it's difficult to compare as the versions are different. My own result: https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/70960481?

Funnily enough, I had a 3dmark account from years ago and it shows my score of 5752 with a ATI Radeon X800 XT(1x) and Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.40GHz 🤣 https://www.3dmark.com/3dm05/1125858
A bit of an upgrade from that system I think.....
If it's switched on... yes, it definitely should. With programs I think it's less forceful though.Mmm, thought I had the latest version. Does steam not push updates automatically?
If you go into steam (If that's where you got it) you should be able to check for updates in the program information window.

I reinstalled today, so I assume this version is the latest and therefore what I'm running?
Thanks, it's set to Always keep updated, so I think I have the latest. I wonder if Steam version is lagging behind the direct install version if 3DMark is complaining? If you go into your steam library, right click on it, select properties, then update, this is what you'll get

Just ran one there, lower score!Yip, that's the latest now. Did you try another run?
Before you do, make sure your fans are set to max for a couple of minutes before you start
Just ran one there, lower score!
I scored 30 821 in Fire Strike
AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti x 1, 16384 MB, 64-bit Windows 10}www.3dmark.com
As I couldn't get the 3600mhz RAM to play nice with my system, I just left it at 3200mhz and added to what was there. THought I'd run the numbers again, with 32gb (I don't need it mind) compared to my original run with 16gb
And...no difference ;-)
I scored 12 046 in Time Spy
AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 x 1, 32768 MB, 64-bit Windows 11}www.3dmark.com
Quantity of RAM doesn't have any impact on performance, you could have 128Gb in there, at the same speeds the system would perform exactly the same. There's a misconception about what RAM does in a PC.As I couldn't get the 3600mhz RAM to play nice with my system, I just left it at 3200mhz and added to what was there. THought I'd run the numbers again, with 32gb (I don't need it mind) compared to my original run with 16gb
