Blender PC as a gift

I'm considering this specification for running Blender. I'm looking to install Linux. My budget is £500 and this seems to be the best I can come up with. Have I made any major mistakes?

If you can afford a bit more, AMD CPUs do like fast RAM, so upgrading that would be worth it, probably about 20 quid more.
