Games crashing while in use

I recently (January 2024) bought desktop PC with the following specs:
Intel i9-14900K
Nvidia RTX 4070
64GB DDR5 RAM
Samsung SSD 990 Pro 2TB
Windows 11 OS
(if any others are required, let me know)

Past day or so, games have started crashing after some use (sometimes shortly after start up, sometimes after up to an hour or so). I have tested this with multiple games of varying levels of graphical and cpu intensity, and all crash in the same way. I have also verified the files for all games, and all are showing no corrupted files etc, so I am fairly sure it is a PC issue.

To attempt a solution, I have obviously fully re-booted the system multiple times. I have checked that both Windows and the graphics drivers are up to date. I have also done a reinstall of Windows 11. I have run a full virus scan, and have run windows memory diagnostic. I have also, using samsung magician, run a test of my ssd operation, and have run sfc/scannow to check the integrity of the os files. All of these diagnostic checks are showing no issues. During gameplay, I have monitored the CPU and GPU usage, and neither seems to be excessive, with crashing occuring in some cases for only 40% usage, and temperatures of 40-50C for the GPU and 60-70C for the CPU. I have also checked RAM usage, and am using less than 20GB in all cases, well below the system capacity.

If there are any additional diagnostic checks people can think of, or any potential solutions to try, I would be extremely grateful.
Many thanks.

We love you Ukraine
That will definitely have cooked, the cooler is nowhere near suitable, nor is the case for the level of components. The PSU is also not high enough.

Your cpu will have melted from the inside, it’s called silicon degradation. Nothing you can do but request an RmA to have the CPU replaced

I still think you’ll face problems after that as the PSU and case are too low.

Really it’s never going to work properly without quite a substantial amount of rebuilding with better parts which would cost quite a lot of money also.

In future get some advice if you don’t know hardware
