Just to start. It has been a good 15 years since I built a PC so I am very out of touch with current specs etc so please forgive my ignorance.
I am looking for a desktop for high quality gaming at 1080p and for some light graphics designing and coding for my son.
I do not currently have a monitor but will be exclusively looking for a 1080p monitor at a minimum 156hz.
My budget for the PC (not including monitor) is 2k obviously if there can be savings made whilst keeping performance that would be appreciated.
I am a bit wary of liquid cooling as I am not entirely sure of the benefits for the build I have gone for. I would of selected the deepcool fans but they were out of stock.
Obviously I know future proofing isn't a thing but really looking at a 5 year cycle minimum.
