hmm, he mostly goes to his friends and they learn video editing + work, and with a laptop he will be more flexible. But I don’t exclude the computer as well and I’ll be glad for advice here as well 🙏

This is the all out beast at the moment with the strongest processor and GPU. It comes with an external watercooler unit which is required for maximum performance otherwise the GPU and possible CPU will thermal throttle, but it can still be used like that away from home. It's pretty much the most powerful system on the market today. I have made a compromise to get it within budget of reducing the secondary SSD to 1Tb, would have liked 2Tb for games, but it's just too pricey, but it's an easy upgrade to do at a later date should you want to.

Would this be useful information: The curved AOC C27G2ZE has a 27” VA panel and a curvature radius of 1500R. Its frame rate of 240Hz and 300 nits luminance, 0.5ms response time and low input lag ensure a stutter-free display and radiant picture quality.

It's a tiny bit over budget, but worth it if you can stretch.

Just be aware, that monitor is 1080p and 27", over 24" it start to reduce visual fidelity. Plus 1080p on any modern system is a really poor experience, this system could handle 1440p for a far better experience as it is, or it's an option down the line at a later time should you wish to.

It's a strong build with a great multicore processor which is good for gaming as well as being strong for video editing.

You will also have the option to upgrade the processor to the next generation when they're released as they'll use the same socket.

The GPU has strong cores that help enormously for any hardware accelerated application like Video Editing.

The build as a whole has huge upgradeability. The main platform should last a good 7 - 10 years with maybe a couple of GPU upgrades in that time (which can't be avoided)
