Lian Li case Fans / Proxmox

HI guys,

I have received my new PC (LIAN LI O11DYNAMIC EVO RGB GAMING CASE) which came with the Lian Li Case fans. When I first booted the pc up, all the lights came on (Case Fans, Radiator Fans, Memory, Case Border lights).

Now I have installed Proxmox, I have not only lost the ability to control the color of motherboard connected devices but the Lian Li fans no longer light up at all, but they do spin.

Any advice on how to resolve? Ive tried OpenRGB but not had much luck although it does detect the mobo and fans.

You’d need a VM with passthrough and install L-Connect if they’re plugged in via controller, it’s only supported on windows I believe

Sometimes you can then save effects to the firmware on the controller / device, the software will tell you if that possible. If it is then the RGB will work independent of an OS

If they are controlled by the motherboard then you’d need the same but with whatever motherboard RGB software

If you’ve installed proxmox, you’ll know all that side of it
