Replacement SSD

Hi

Today the SSD in my PC Specialist laptop stopped working and I'm after a replacement. The current model is 512GB INTEL® 760p M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (upto 3230MB/sR | 1625MB/sW) - this seems to be discontinued now. Can someone recommend a compatible replacement of a similar spec, please?

Thanks

When did you buy the system and what warranty did you choose as you may be covered?

Hi,

Purchased in June 2019 with Silver 3 year warranty.

Thanks
Ooo, so it’s a 5 year warranty on that drive:

It would be worth trying an RMA direct with Intel, even though your warranty with PCS has run out you’re still covered by manufacturers warranty possibly

Rather than buying a replacement Gen 3 drive which will handicap you bringing it across to a new system when you do upgrade, I’d suggest getting a decent gen 4 drive anyway, it will still work fine just be limited to gen 3 speeds.

The P44 Pro is a really solid drive, I may suggest a 1tb as space is becoming more and more restrictive with modern programs and cloud storage if your budget permits
