I know that GPUs are really hard to get but it seems like PC specialist have quite a good stock of them, I'm looking at getting the Asus dual RTX 3070 for around January. Will it still be in stock?

That’s a bit of a tricky question. You’re asking us to look into a crystal ball we don’t possess.

It will all depend on current orders at the time you wish to place yours. It will also depend on whether you’re a current PCS customer or not. They’re not a ‘parts’ seller so it’s a bit different from buying from other companies.

Yeah, PCS don't sell parts unless it's an upgrade to an existing PCS system. You have to buy a complete system.

it most likely will, they've managed to make it through christmas without any stock issues that ive noticed on the GPU side of things

Hiya

You can place an order anytime like any website.

They are closed all bank holidays, may be worth taking a look at this thread which gives opening times.

They work through any lockdowns so long as they don't have an outbreak amongst the staff obviously. They take it very seriously and take all precautions.

Pipped to the post, twice! Worth noting that with their Xmas guarantee, if you order now, your order won't be building until at least after the 29th so you'll likely be past any Xmas rush by then so any support will be back to normal.

thats great to hear! I'm not buying this PC for Christmas haha, thats why i wanted to buy after Christmas, do you think delivery times will be quicker because for some reason I cant activate an express shipping like the configure a pc page says you can.

If i have any other questions i will put them under this post instead of adding different topics, it will be easier for everyone to be fair.

I think that because Christmas is almost upon us the express build option has been disabled. Existing orders to both the EU and the UK have to be fulfilled so queue jumping has been taken off the table.

Ordering after the festive period will likely make little difference to the amount of time your order will take. Supply and demand in general is so high that it’s been consistently longer than it has ever before. I’d estimate that you’d likely be waiting around a month to forty days from the point of ordering. And that estimate is not to be taken as concrete, it could be sooner and it could be later. Stock is fluctuating all the time but it’s a fairly reasonable ballpark looking at recent posts and orders.

It’s worth the wait, though. I ordered mine during lockdown 1.0 and was checking my order status every ten minutes and making lots of amendments.

But when my lovely local DPD man knocked on my door and handed me my box of joy the waiting didn’t matter. There was a beautiful baby with excellent cable management within and we’ve grown to love one another.

Hey again everyone! thanks for all your help so far I appreciate it! Basically, I'm wondering if the prices will change on their website for custom build PCs over the days they're closed (24th - 28th) because i plan on buying on the 26th but if the prices wont have a change ill buy on the 24th because its the same amount. ( that little decrease or increase if I was unlucky always matters ;) )

They're unlikely to change over the holidays, but may change before Saturday. The prices are live and adjust based on market variations which over the past year have been crazy.

But if you save a quotation, that price is valid for 5 days no matter what changes.
